Vancouver Voice Over Workshop
A place for Voice Actors to connect and grow with local Casting Directors and other successful Industry Professionals
A place for Voice Actors to connect and grow with local Casting Directors and other successful Industry Professionals
Founded in 2021,
Vancouver VO Workshop (VVOW) was created as a solution to bring actors, casting and voice directors together after the wake of COVID and the new norm of MP3 auditions.
Due to the current limitations of remote auditions, it can be difficult for actors to receive the level of guidance and support that they would typically receive during in-person auditions. Similarly, casting and voice directors may find it challenging to establish meaningful connections with actors and provide them with constructive feedback to improve their performances.
To address these challenges, VVOW provides monthly workshops featuring local casting directors, voice directors, and producers, with the goal of creating opportunities for learning, direct feedback, and networking for actors. Through these workshops, actors can gain the skills and connections they need to succeed in a rapidly changing industry.
